Welcome to The Hot Chinesse! The place where you are the martial art.
The Hot Chinesse is a blog dedicated to the Asian martial arts. It is not a site where you can learn Martial arts, but is a place where you can know the things behind the practice. So you can understand me better, here is how I am going to organize this blog:
Because there are so many martial arts, I am just going to write about Asian martial arts. The blog is divided in two major groups: theory and practice. The theory can be the history (not all, just a little history background), it can be the meaning of some martial arts stuff (like names, moves and even the meaning of the discipline) or it can be some of the theory of the techniques. If you know the origin you can move on to the practice. The practice, like I told you before, is not a complete manual of how to master any martial art therefore it is not an alternative form to learn this disciplines either. The main purpose is to teach you the work that costs to master any kind of discipline and you get more involved. By doing this you should be able to appreciate more these Asian disciplines and the benefits they give you either physically, intellectually or spiritually. That is why you should read it either you like martial arts or not.
To be honest I don’t know too much about this subject so this is a great opportunity to learn and I hope to teach others too.

ResponderEliminarPersonally, I have never been interested in any kind of martial art, maybe while reading some of your posts i really get into it.
I like the intro of your blog; you introduced most of the topics that will be discussed
I think your blog would get a great audience, since it’s very interesting, and many people had practiced at least one kind of martial art; maybe you need to include also people who are famous because of martial arts.
You said you were not explaining the whole history of this activity, but in my opinion it would be awesome to get to know its origins and creators.
From my point of view, a great idea would be an interview to a person who knows about martial arts, for those who are interested in learning some kind of martial art. What I would maybe like to know is if it has a risk to practice martial arts? Or, are there any ranks in martial arts (like in tae kwon do)? That is what I think is missing for being complete information.
Of course I am not demanding you to do what I say, it is just an observation.
Do not forget to take a look at my blog, it is about sailing, as you did, I wrote a kind of intro explaining which are some of the kinds of boats that are commonly used in sailboats races, maybe you could give me your opinion, and some tips to improve it.
